Like many women born in the mid to late '70s, my name is Melissa.​

​

I am a lover of puns, carbs, the ’90s, HGTV, & NW wine. Proud momma to a 17-year-old human and two of the sweetest pups. I am still married to my high school sweetheart after 23 years.

 

Also, I love what I do. I am a marketer with experience spanning two decades, but I started making award-winning posters in 4H when I was eight. Since then, I have worked in an agency setting and in-house for Fortune 500 and scrappy start-ups.

Since the mid-2000's, I have been building brand and revenue strategies for home builders by focusing on digital strategy, sales enablement, our customers, and our team.

​

I am always building towards better. I want to be a better mother, wife, marketer, and human. As a result, I read, listen, and watch everything I can.  And in 2021, I decided to document this journey and started this blog. 

​

I am so glad you are here and look forward to building and growing together.
